How to Gain PMI PDUs from SAP Trainings

June 24, 2014 Ranjith Raghunathan

One of the pre-requisite for a Project Management Professional (PMP) aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) is to gain continued Professional development Units (PDUs) every 3 years to keep their PMP certification active.

As part of the SAP eco-system our technology keeps changing and there is a lot of continued education that we do as SAP professionals.

This blog shows how to find what SAP courses will fetch you PMP-PDUs.

The reason I thought of writing this blog is because I found it very difficult to find the above information using google search, though I knew quite clearly that I should first go to

http://www.pmi.org/Certification/Project-Management-Professional-PMP.aspx

However even after reaching the above link, I had to go around a bit after about 1-2 hours of browsing to find out exactly where the list of SAP courses can be found. If you are lucky you might just find this in a few minutes yourself!

So,

Continuing Certification Requirements System

This will take you into the following page

Now select "Activities" and search for "SAP" -> the next page again on the left side make the selection as follows:

You can find many interesting entries here:

eg of some of them

Agile ASAP 8
ASAP Implementation Methodology for SAP projects
Assemble to Order -- Classroom Training

Now you can easily search for many of the sessions and training you have completed and claim your credits!
