New on Premise and Cloud Version of SAP HANA Customer Engagement Intelligence RDS

SAP HANA Customer Engagement Intelligence rapid-deployment solution is now available in version 3.11 and it is currently based on SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence 1.1 SP04. Customers and partners can find all the content of this solution on the SAP Service Marketplace which requires access rights. Use this navigation: https://service.sap.com/rds-cei.

  • On the entry  page you find the available scenarios ("scope-items"). Open the details per scope-item to find more information, such as a detailed description and a process flow diagram.
  • To find information such as offline demos (scope-item simulations), software requirements etc., on the entry page scroll down to the "Find out more" section.

 

All available implementation content such as configuration guides and test scripts is available in the so-called Content Library.

Depending on your access rights, you can either download the SAP HANA Customer Engagement Intell. Service Enabl. SBS Guide (zip file) from the Downloads folder in the left-hand navigation of https://service.sap.com/rds-cei.  Or you can download the implementation content here: Software Downloads | SAP Support Portal (https://support.sap.com/swdc) > Installations and Upgrades > A-Z Index > select the letter R > SAP Rapid Deployment solutions > SAP HANA Customer Engagement Intelligence rapid-deployment solution > select RDS CEI HANA RDS > select RDS CEI HANA RDS 3.11 > Installation: Download the download object.

In the downloaded zip-file, double-click the start.htm file to access the Content Library which contains all implementation content assets.

 

You can consume this rapid-deployment solution (RDS) either in the “traditional” on premise way where you use the rapid-deployment solution content to set up your own system fast, with low risk and at a fixed price. Alternatively you now also have the option to request your own Cloud-based system based on a “semi-activated” appliance. Using the semi-activated appliance will speed up the implementation time of the scenarios you select even more, because many general settings have been applied already and you only need to implement those settings that are customer-specific. For example, if you use the semi-activated appliance, you will be able to access the Customer Engagement Intelligence application right away, whereas this is not the case if you set up your own own premise system from scratch.
